A place, a period and a story each have a scent, and almost every exhibition asks a visitor to imagine it. ABRAH works with museums, galleries, heritage houses and cultural organisations to compose scent as part of the narrative rather than as atmosphere added afterwards. Historical and thematic narratives are translated into olfactory experiences that deepen a visitor’s encounter with a work, a place or a story.
Each commission is composed from named raw materials with documented origin, and where a period scent is reconstructed, the sources behind it are recorded and can be published alongside the work.
Compositions created for a public or institutional context: an exhibition, a permanent gallery, a heritage interior, a commemoration. Composed to a curatorial brief and delivered with the record of its materials and sources.
For projects that wish to include scent and need it done with clarity and technical precision: how it is delivered, contained between rooms, how long it holds, and how visitors with sensitivities are accounted for.

The narrative, the period, the sources, with the curator.
Directions developed against the brief and the constraints of the room.
Tested in situ, at visitor scale, over a full day of traffic.
The work recorded with its materials, sources and reasoning, so the institution can publish it.

Institutional budgets and timelines are set by the programme, not by the House. Every project is quoted against the brief, in your currency.

A guest remembers how a place smelled long after they have forgotten what it looked like. Most establishments buy that memory from a catalogue, which means a competitor can order the same one.
A commercial commission composes a signature that belongs to one address and cannot be bought by anyone else.
One composition for the house: the entrance, the rooms, the linens. A guest recognises the place before they see it, and remembers it after they leave.
A scent identity for a flagship or a private showroom, composed to the brand’s own materials rather than to a category convention.
For a founder, a family office or a members’ house: a composition for a named, closed circle rather than a market.

The place, its people, and what it wants to be known for.
Directions explored in the actual environment, not on paper.
Tested at the scale it will be used, through a full day of the building’s traffic.
Format, volumes, replenishment and the terms of exclusivity, set in writing.

Commercial commissions start from $15,000, quoted and settled in your currency. Scope, timeline and investment are agreed per project. A hotel and a private office are not the same commission.

The character of a home is shaped not only by what can be seen, but by what is only ever felt. A home commission creates a scent identity for a residence or interior, composed from the ground up to meet its architecture, its materials and the way its rooms are actually used. Fragrance becomes a considered part of the interior rather than something added to it.
Nothing is drawn from a fragrance library or a template formula. Each commission is composed from named raw materials and bespoke accords, and the result belongs to your property alone: beyond standard home fragrance, into something personal and enduring.
For homeowners, collectors and design professionals. Whether a family house, a minimalist apartment, a private library or a retreat, the composition reflects the identity, rhythm and atmosphere of the space.
It is for those who understand that a home is known by its details: the ones that welcome, anchor memory, and make a place feel entirely its own.

An in-depth consultation to understand the space: its architecture, materials, light, textures and atmosphere, and the feeling you wish to create on entering. This brief becomes the foundational scent concepts.
Directions are explored in relation to the space itself: how the composition behaves in that air, how present or discreet it should feel, and how it meets the materials and the airflow. The aim is not to overpower a room but to belong to it.
Once approved, the composition is refined for its chosen format, prepared, and allowed to mature before being introduced into the house.

Home commissions start from $6,000, quoted and settled in your currency, with development timelines typically ranging from eight to ten weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.

Scent is the most intimate expression of identity, yet few choose it deliberately. A personal commission is a fragrance composed for one individual and made for no one else. It begins with a private conversation about who you are, how you want to be remembered, and what you refuse. From that conversation your perfumer composes, refines, and finishes a single formula that becomes yours.
Every composition is built from named raw materials with documented origin, rather than from a pre-made base adjusted at the edges. The formula closes the day it is finished, is archived under your name, and is never offered to anyone else, in any market.
Some commission to mark something: a decade, a reinvention, an arrival, a marriage, a person they want to remember. Some commission because what they want has never been made.
Some commission for a life demanding enough that a fragrance has to hold through heat and hours rather than sit still in a room. The reason is yours to bring, and the House does not require it to be on a list.

An in-depth consultation, held privately by call wherever you are: what you wear now, what you have rejected, how you want to be read, and the reason behind the commission. The brief becomes foundational scent concepts, composed from raw materials and bespoke accords.
Three directions, labelled I, II and III, are developed in parallel rather than one refined in isolation, so the choice is between compositions that are already right. The variations come to you to wear on your own skin, one at a time. Scent reveals itself over hours, not moments.
Once your direction is chosen, the composition is balanced to its final form: its projection, its evolution on skin, and how long it stays. Your chosen direction is refined until it is right; further rounds of variations are quoted separately. The finished formula is made in full, allowed to mature, and delivered with its record.

Personal commissions start from $4,500, quoted and settled in your currency, with development typically ranging from six to eight weeks, depending on the scope of the composition.
